I had a suspicious program in the quarantine folder of McAfee Internet Security, but it disappeared without any warning or indication that it was fixed. How do I check my quarantine folder?

In some cases, the McAfee application is configured to delete the files that it added to quarantine or clean them and restore as necessary. That's why you don't see the files in that section anymore. To access Quarantine, open McAfee, then click on Navigation > Quarantined and Trusted Items. Open Quarantined Items (individual files) or Quarantined Potentially Unwanted Programs (for programs).
Note: If the file is there, do not remove it from Quarantine unless you are 100 % sure it was a mistake, else you will be facing malware infection on your computer.
How do I edit McAfee Internet Security Exclusion list?

You need to access the Quarantine section in order to add a file to the Exclusion list. Basically, in McAfee the Exclusions list is actually the Trusted zone. Open McAfee, then use the Navigation and access the Quarantine zone. Right click a file in the Quarantine and add it to the Trusted zone. This way McAfee will avoid scanning or adding the file to quarantine when it's accessed or launched.
My McAfee Internet Security keeps shutting off every couple of minutes. It's an official version I bought, so no bad cracks. How do I fix the issue?

The one that turns off is actually the firewall and the issue is caused by a permission error.
Go to Start > Run > regedit and navigate to HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\SharedAccess. Then, right click SharedAccess, and click Permissions. Locate "Enter the object names to select" field, and type “NT SERVICE\mpssvc”. Search using Check Names. The name should change to MpsSvc. Click Ok, then select Full Control.
Afterwards, access Start > Run > services.msc and locate the Windows Firewall. Restart it and everything should be fine.
You can get coupons for McAfee products using the available websites listed on Google. There are plenty of those. Basically, get the coupon and apply it when you're buying the application.
How do I access McAfee Internet Security as a registered user? Is it required or can I use it anonymously as a full feature?

Since the application is commercial, the only way to access installers and all the documents is through My Account. Therefore, you are not anonymous because the product needs purchasing and you'll have to use real name, credit card data, address, etc. As a registered user, it's mandatory to log-in and use the available packages. Basically, the company will know your name and every other detail I mentioned above.
